A balloon operator should, according to (EU) 2018/395 – BOP.ADD.200, have an operations manual (OM) in which is described how it will operate.

It’s not an easy task to write a complete operations manual (OM) that complies with the EU legislation. Therefore BalloonHub has written an operations manual for balloon operators and pilots. Available in English, Dutch, German, and French. (more languages on request)

The BalloonHub OM complies with all the requirements from (EU) 2018/395 – Part BOP. It includes organizational structure, responsibilities, safety, occurrence reporting, standard operating procedures, training, record keeping, and compliance monitoring.
